BioMCN and North Water sign contract

North Water provides solutions for problems concerning water treatment and waste water purification for businesses and industrial complexes in. In 2007, North Water invested in a modern purification unit very close to BioMCN's plant. This unit biologically purifies industrial quantities of salt waste water. It enables BioMCN to significantly increase their production capacity without discharging waste water directly into the Waddenzee, the water and coastal wetlands adjacent to the plant. Driven by a commitment to sustainability and care for the environment, BioMCN is very pleased with this collaboration.

Construction reaches highest point

The construction of the new bio-methanol plant has reached its highest point. The most important part of the purification unit was put into place: a 40 meter and 120 tonne column. The column arrived by ship, was hauled onto a heavy duty vehicle and slowly transported to its final destination - the last two miles taking hours. After the column was heaved into place, Chief Operations Officer Paul Compagne and Project Manager Gerwin Nauta fastened the first bolts. BioMCN has put the design and construction in the capable hands of Emmtec Engineering. The progress so far is impressive.
